In aerodynamics, the Lift-to-Drag ratio (L/D) is a measure of how efficient an aircraft it.
Every year the HHPA club members meet for the annual L/D Contest: "Foot launch and fly as far as you can!" An opportunity to practice foot launch skills, landing skills, and have a great time while flying as far as physically possible.
